Hope was rescued from the medical ward at the Chicago City Pound at 9 weeks of age.  Both of her hips had been broken as she lay wasting away. We couldn’t leave without her. We had to give her a real chance at life. On the way home we named her Hope. She now had a new name and a new life with a “Hope” of a real future.

Hope's care has been funded in part through generous donations of those who may have only seen a picture of her or had read her story. They have given us all “Hope” for a full recovery.

Hope will require surgical correction of both hips and extensive rehabilitation for a long time to come. Please open your hearts and help us help her on her journey.
